A nonprofit of 1,100+ women physicians needed a home that could take donations, sell gala tickets and let members actually find each other. I designed and built all of it — including a searchable directory of 4,500+ doctors.
The organisation had grown past a thousand members, an annual charity ball and a partnership with the 1Voice Foundation — and it was all being run through group chats and a donation link. Nothing online reflected its size or its seriousness, and members had no way to find a colleague in a given specialty.
Three problems at once: credibility, donations, and a referral network that only existed in people's heads.
Every page, designed and developed. Mission, members, events, gallery, sponsors, contact — one visual system across all of it.
Donations wired in. Givebutter connected to the site so donating and reserving gala seats takes two clicks, plus a live countdown on the ball page.
A directory of 4,500+ physicians. Members-only, searchable by name and filterable by specialty and city — the referral network, finally usable.
Membership intake. A single form that collects specialty, NPI, practice details and directory consent, so the board stopped chasing information by email.
Four and a half thousand records is where most nonprofit sites fall over. This one filters instantly: pick a specialty, narrow to Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater or Sarasota, or just type a name.
“He built our directory of thousands of physicians and made it feel simple.”
